Zero Point Brownies (Weight Watchers Friendly)
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup zero-calorie sweetener (like Swerve or Stevia)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: 2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper
- Spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray
- Mix Wet Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together:
- Unsweetened applesauce
- Non-fat Greek yogurt
- Egg whites
- Vanilla extract
- Mix until smooth and well combined

- Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, sift together:
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- All-purpose flour
- Zero-calorie sweetener
- Baking powder
- Salt
- In a separate bowl, sift together:
- Create Batter
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients
- Stir until just combined
- Do not overmix
- If using, fold in sugar-free chocolate chips
- Bake
- Pour batter into prepared pan
- Spread evenly with a spatula
- Bake for 20-25 minutes
- Test with a toothpick – it should come out with a few moist crumbs
- Cool and Serve
- Let brownies cool in pan for 10 minutes
- Lift out using parchment paper
- Cool completely on a wire rack
- Cut into 9 equal squares
